A Bit About Me
Hello, I'm Georgie Westley, the owner of Distinctive Features Cosmetic Tattoo and Beauty. I established the business in 2013 and have been working in the beauty industry for over 26 years. Throughout my career, I have received extensive training both nationally and internationally, allowing me to specialize in cosmetic tattooing, tattoo removal, and education.
I started my journey in cosmetic tattooing in 2000 when I was 19 years old. I began as a SofTap artist and later learned machine tattoo work. To stay up-to-date with the latest trends, I regularly travel overseas and interstate to train with other industry experts. Additionally, I host international artists at Distinctive Features in Melbourne.

Over the years, I have witnessed various techniques come and go in the industry. As a professional accredited trainer, I have taught beauty therapy, makeup artistry, nail technology, and cosmetic tattooing. This continuous teaching has helped me expand my knowledge in all aspects of aesthetics.
I am proud to be a multi-award-winning tattooist, having been a finalist for the Australian Beauty Industry awards multiple times. In 2020, I won the Tattooist of the Year award. I have also received recognition from the Association of Cosmetic Tattoo, winning the Advanced Cosmetic Tattooist of the Year award in 2015 and the People's Choice and Runner Up award in 2016.
I actively contribute to setting industry standards and frequently speak at beauty industry events.

Due to my experience and age, I now attract an older clientele and specialize in working with mature skin and corrective procedures. Many artists refer challenging and time-consuming jobs to me. My passion lies in changing people's lives and boosting their self-confidence.
I am confident in working with any skin type, and success depends on thorough consultations and managing client expectations.
